Busy Start to July for Company 4

Already this month we have responded to 49 total calls including 5 structure fires, 3 vehicle fires, 2 vehicle collisions with entrapment, 4 other vehicle collisions with injuries, and numerous medical emergencies.
25 of those calls were in the last 5 days and had 36 unit responses from our station.

First Due Rescue with Entrapment

Shortly after 7:30pm units were alerted for a rescue with entrapment in the area of Rt. 144 and Long Corner Rd. CF4A and RE4 responded with Carroll R1, E12, and M18 (E41 and P45 were both on other calls). CF4A arrived to find a vehicle off the road into a tree and pole with wires down with one patient trapped. RE4 runs multiple Rescues

At just after 6:35am on May 7th, units were alerted for a vehicle accident on I-70 between the weigh station and Rt. 32. Units arrived to find two tractor trailers involved and one of the drivers trapped. RE4 responded and served as the primary extrication unit.

Busy Spring Weekend

Members stayed busy attending multiple events, trainings, and responding to calls this weekend. Saturday morning started with members responding to an EMS call where the patient was transported by MSP Trooper 3. RE4 responded with P45 while E41 was committed on another call. E41 responded after clearing, as did WS42 to handle the landing zone, before being placed in service.
