At 0756 P-45 was dispatched to Carroll County Medical Alarm 14-10 for the "Injured Subject". P-45 arrived to find an adult female at a construction site lying on the ground after having her hand crushed under a load of wood that was being delivered. The crushing force was estimated at about 1,500 lbs. With significant injury, MSP Aviation was requested and the patient was refered to Union Memorial Hand Center in Baltimore. E-41 was dispatched to secure the landing zone. P-45 packaged and treated the patient at the scene and than transferred care to MSP TPR-3 for transport. All units cleared at 0839.
