| At just after 6:30pm on May 5th, 2026, units from Lisbon were alerted to assist with a fire in the 7100 Block of Watersville Rd in Mt. Airy. E41, TNK4, WS42, P45 and CF4 responded on the initial assignment. First arriving units found a single story church with fire showing from the roof. E41 and TNK4 assisted with fire attack, and WS42 set up a tanker fill site at a nearby hydrant. CF4 assisted incident command and used his vehicle as the command post for the incident.
Crews operated for approximately 4 hours, and no injuries were reported.
