At 12:20pm on Friday November 7th, E41 and B47 were alerted along with Carroll E12 (Mt. Airy) for a brush fire in the 6900 block of John Pickett Rd in Woodbine. Carroll CF12-2 (Sykesville) arrived first and confirmed a working field fire, requesting more units. TNK4, WS42, and B48 responded along with EMSBC3 and Carroll County units from Mt. Airy, Winfield, and Sykesville. Crews operated on scene for approximately 90 minutes. The cause of the fire was a downed power line in the field.
