Shortly after 8:45 pm on Saturday September 10th, units from Sykesville were alerted for a vehicle collision with rescue on Old Washington Road in the area of W Obrecht Road. Shortly after the initial dispatch the assignment was upgraded due to reports of people trapped in separate vehicles. RE4 and P46 were alerted to assist along with Winfield, West Friendship, Glenwood, and Mt Airy.

RE4 arrived and assisted with extricating the patient in the pickup truck. Crews worked for approximately 20 minutes to extricate the patients who were later transported to area trauma centers.
