First thing this morning Engine Tanker 44 was loaded onto a tractor trailer and left 16104 Frederick Road for the last time.

She served the Lisbon and surrounding communities proudly and will always by remembered by most people as the best running fire truck built. We are proud to be able to give her new life to a department in need!

She arrived in Hindman Kentucky earlier this evening where LT. Dan Natoli, Board Member Brian Boone and Equipment Committee Chair Rick Bowman transferred paperwork and went over the ins and out of the engine and supplies with the members of Hindman.

We wish Hindman the best and hope the old girl treats them well for years to come!

Also, special thanks to career firefighters Chris High and Kevin Kidd who donated thejr time and resources to ensure The Engine Tanker arrived safely in its new home!
