Shortly before 10:00am on Sunday, February 7th, Carroll County alerted units for smoke inside a commercial building in the 300 Block of East Ridgeville Blvd in Mt. Airy. E41 responded to assist along with crews from Carroll, Frederick, and Montgomery counties. Crews operated for approximately 30 minutes, and determined the smoke was caused by a faulty HVAC unit.
