Just before 10:00pm on Saturday January 2nd, units were alerted for the report of a house fire in the 14200 block of Day Farm Rd in Glenelg. E41 and CF4C responded on the initial dispatch along with crews from surrounding stations. CF4C arrived and established command while the first due units worked to extinguish the fire. E41 was the 4th arriving engine and served as the RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) for the incident. ET44 was alerted as a tanker on the Task Force and responded to assist with rural water supply operations. The fire was marked under control approximately 45 minutes after dispatch. Crews remained on the scene until 1:00am Sunday morning while the investigation was completed by the Fire Marshall's office.

We would like to thank the New Market VFC for providing coverage to our first due while our units operated on the incident. Photos are courtesy of HCDFRS.
