Shortly after 8:45pm on Sunday December 20th, Carroll County alerted units for a house fire with rescue in the 1800 block of Gillis Falls road. This area is Lisbon’s first due in Carroll County. E41, ET44, WS42, P45, and CF4A responded along with other units from Carroll and Howard counties. Carroll DTY1 arrived first and found fire through the roof of a single family home with all occupants out and accounted for. E41 was the first arriving engine, and began fire attack operations. WS42 responded to a nearby pond to establish a water source for the incident. Crews from Lisbon operated on scene for over three hours before turning the scene over to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshall for investigation.
