At shortly before 10am on Wednesday June 24th unit’s were alerted for smoke inside a house in the 14000 Block of Howard Rd in Dayton (Clarksville’s First Due). E41 was alerted to complete the initial assignment after another unit had mechanical problems. On arrival units found a working basement fire and command requested the task force bringing ET44 and WS42. E41 operated at the dump site, and E41’s crew assisted with fire attack. ET44 and WS42 assisted with the rural water supply operations. Crews from Lisbon operated for approximately 2 hours. One resident was home at the time of the fire, and they exited prior to fire department arrival. No injuries were reported, and the Office of the Fire Marshall is handling the investigation.

While other units operated on the fire P45 responded to a medical emergency in our area. Mt. Airy and New Market provided coverage at Lisbon during the incident.
