It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our President and past Chief, Albert Musgrove. Albert Eugene Musgrove 66, of Mt Airy, MD died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of Sherry (Frizzell) Musgrove. He was born May 4, 1948 in Montgomery County, MD the son of the late James Albert and Dorothy M. (Ridgley) Musgrove. Albert worked for over 30 years at the MD State Hwy Admin and worked 20 plus years on Riggs Farm in Woodbine. He also had worked for All County Security in Ellicott City and was currently working for ABC Transportation. He was a Life Member of Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company, where he served for 49 years in several positions including Treasurer, Chief and President. Mr. Musgrove was a Past President and Treasurer for Howard County Volunteer Fireman’s Assoc. He loved horse racing. Surviving in addition to his wife are Step-son Edward Cason, III of New Market. Sister and Brother-in-law Betty and Frank Ellis of Essex, MD Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law Terry and Kenneth Hamby of Waynesboro, PA. , Pet dog Peanut, Uncle and Aunt Robert and Carolyn Musgrove of Levine, AZ, Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother-in-law and father-in-law William and Eleanor Frizzell and half-brother Francis Schooly.
