| On Thursday, August 11th at 1745 hours, Carroll County alerted box alarm 1-5 in the 2100 block of Scarlet Way for the house fire. Units from Lisbon quickly responded on the box, arriving shortly after Mount Airy. Command advised they had a working basment fire. Units from Carroll, Howard, Montgomery, and Frederick counties worked together to quickly extinguish the blaze. All of the occupants were able to escape safely, and there were no injuries.
It should also be noted that this house was sprinklered, which contributed greatly to holding the fire. |
