Just after 6 pm on Monday, April 15th, units from Lisbon and surrounding stations were alerted for a house fire in the 7000 block of Woodbine Road. E41, ET44, P45, and CF4 responded within minutes. While responding, the rapid intervention dispatch and tanker task force were requested due to multiple calls and smoke in the area. Units from Lisbon arrived to find fire showing from the front door of the house. While the crews from E41 and ET44 began fire attack operations along with crews from Winfield, CF4 established command and gave instructions to arriving units. Crews from Sykesville, Mt. Airy, and HCDFRS also assisted. One occupant of the home was transported to an area hospital for smoke inhalation. The fire was marked under control just after 6:30 pm, but fire department units remained on the scene until after 10 pm overhauling the structure and assisting the Maryland State Fire Marshall's office. The scene was then turned over to the FMs for further investigation.
