Progress today at the new home of the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company. The members of the fire company have worked many long, hard, and countless hours to get us to this milestone.

I would like to thank each and everyone one of them for the time they have devoted to make this dream a reality!!

I would also like to thank the members of our community from Mt. Airy, Lisbon, Woodbine, Glenwood, Glenelg, and all of the smaller communities in between for their continued support with this project.

We have a great community that we live in. The day of our groundbreaking this past April on that cold and windy day, we had over 200+ people come out to the property to be part of the groundbreaking ceremony.

The Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company has been, for many years, the place for community members near and far to gather for events. Whether it be a Fire Company event , a family gathering to have a wedding, reunion, birthday, dance, luncheon, bazaar, banquet, blood drive, community meeting or other event.

Please consider donating to the building fund to show your continued support if you are able to do so. Every donation helps.

Donations can be made to Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 40, Lisbon, MD 21765, Attn: Building Fund. To contact us about the project email us at newfirehouse@lisbonvfc.org.
