Just before 5pm on Monday July 9th, 2018 the Lisbon VFC and surrounding companies were alerted for a house fire in the 16500 block of Old Frederick Rd. Within minutes Chief 4 arrived to find fire in both the deck and attic to the rear of the house. The working fire task force was alerted bringing units from all surrounding areas to assist. E41, ET44, WS42, RE4, and P45 all responded from Lisbon in addition to the mutual aid units. Upon the arrival of E41 and ET44 a quick knock was made on the fire and within 15 minutes the fire was marked under control with little extension to the inside of the house. Units operated for over an hour and a half, and the scene was turned over to the HCDFRS Fire Marshall's Office for investigation into the cause of the fire.
