Just before 7:00 pm on July 3rd Box Alarm 5-11 was alerted for a house struck by lightning in the 5200 block of Sweet Meadow Lane in Clarksville. After receiving multiple 911 calls units enroute reported a large column of smoke which led to the dispatch of additional tankers including ET44. Units arrived to find fire through the roof which prompted the working fire task force bringing additional units including E41. E41 responded with a crew of 4 comprised of both the career staff and volunteers, and ET44 responded with a volunteer crew. E41 arrived and assisted with fire attack and ET44 was setup in the tanker shuttle to provide water supply to the fire scene since the area has no hydrants. ET44 operated for around an hour and a half while E41 was on scene for nearly two hours.

While the units operated on the fire B47 participated in the parade at the Manchester VFD carnival and RE4 was manned by a volunteer crew in the station where they responded to the report of a vehicle accident on I-70.
