Just after 7 a.m. on Friday 1/5/18 units from Carroll and Howard counties were alerted for a Chimney fire in the 4800 block of Bushey Rd. Fire department units arrived to find fire through the roof of a single family home. Units worked for several hours to control the fire and establish a consistent water supply. Suppression efforts were complicated by the extreme cold temperatures. E41 worked under fire attack and WS42 assisted with rural water supply.
