TELEPHONE SCAM WARNING!

At least one local resident has reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company offering special deals on vent cleaning. The caller stated they were from the fire company and the caller ID information referenced a local number and the fire company name. This was a fraudulent call. The Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company is NOT involved in any telephone solicitation campaigns at this time. Our annual fund drive mailer would be going out to residents in our first due response area very shortly. This is the only fundraising campaign that we have going on besides our regular fundraising activities scheduled in the activities hall. Should you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company, please hang up and either call the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company or the Howard County Police Department. ~Thank you and stay safe this holiday season!
