Tuesday, June 30th at 6:32pm, Lisbon VFC was dispatched for an accident with injuries on I-70 at Route 97. Engines 41 and 43 as well as Paramedic 45 quickly called responding. Lisbon units were dispatched at 0906 hrs for an overturned asphalt truck on Route 97 at Roxbury Mill Road with two subjects reportedly trapped and a large asphalt spill. Paramedic 45 arrived on the scene first to find a small dump-truck on it's side, a significant amount of hot asphalt spread across the roadway, and the two occupants had self-extricated. On 1-24-09, at 3:40 p.m. Howard County communications dispatched rescue alarm 70-31 for the motor vehicle collision on Westbound Interstate 70 at Route 97. On January 23rd at 5:49 p.m. Carroll County dispatched Box Alarm 1-1 for the grease fire in the kitchen of a house. Lisbon Vol. Fire Co. responded with Engine 41, Engine Tanker 44, and Engine 42. Howard County Volunteers Provide EMS Coverage at Presidential Inauguration

Eight volunteers and two career personnel from Howard County DFRS spent the historical Inauguration Day battling extreme temperatures and crowds in Washington, D.C. providing EMS coverage to the spectators.
